experience in correcting hair colour that has gone wrong.

Our expert stylists offer bespoke treatments to correct colour from

previous hair dying sessions. They have one of the most common reasons

for colour correction is home hair dying sessions that have gone wrong,

due to the dye being left on for too long or not long enough. Sometimes

people simply change their mind after they’ve coloured their hair, and

other times colour changes over time. There are many reasons for colour

correction but our stylists have seen them all before, so there’s no

need to worry.

About colour corrections

Your colourist will look at your hair, discuss the look you were

originally going for and explain what went wrong. After the damage is

assessed, safe gentle products will be used to give you an attractive

colour.

You can use the colour correction service at our Hair Culture salon for

an extreme colour change—from very dark to very light or vice versa—that

went wrong, colour that was left on too long, ends that have been

over-coloured or any other hair colour problem. They specialise in the

common hair colour problems including

  • highlights that are too orange in colour
  • blonde hair that has gone yellow
  • dark bands of colour that have overlapped from repeated home

colouring

  • faded hair colour
  • hair that has turned green in tone
  • hair colour that requires neutralising

Whenever you are working with trying to change previous colour, you are

getting into colour correction work.

You have to remove the previous colour pigment from your hair, before

secondly adding and correcting the colour back to how it should be

giving results you originally wanted. When you already have colour in

your hair, your natural colour has been changed and the hair is starting

off at a drier stage. The Hair Culture stylist’s job is to give you the

colour you want but to minimize damage and breakage to your hair. Thanks

to the Sassoon products, we can remove the previous colour and achieve

high lifting colour in the safest way – without bleaching powder.

It’s difficult to determine the price of the service. There is not a set

price for corrective colour. The cost is determined by the amount of

work necessary to achieve the desired result.

Sometimes it is not possible to achieve the desired colour in one

appointment without breaking the hair, so you need to do it in stages

anyway.

After colour change your hair will need deep moistening and colour will

fade out more quickly than usual, so our stylist will recommend rights

products for you, which are specially formulated to prolong the colour,

nourish the hair and restore moisture balance. To set the correct

expectations, it is important that you pay attention to the

recommendations of your stylist and ask any questions that may arise

during your initial consultation.

Remember, you’ll always look fantastic with colour created and applied

by an expert colourist at our Hair Culture salon. Relax and enjoy your

Hair Culture colour experience, assured that you’re in the hands of our

hair colour professionals.
